Day by day highlights

THE BUDGET:

7 Days from $3,150 per person

Price is an estimate only and is dependant on group size, age of children, time of year and your choice of camps.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a beautiful park known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant population. Enjoy your first game drive through varied landscapes where zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and predators may also be seen. After lunch and more wildlife viewing, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Today you visit Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic park known for its forest, open grassland, lake views, and rich birdlife. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, baboons, hippos, giraffes, and, with luck, the famous tree-climbing lions. After lunch and more exploration, return to your lodge for dinner and another comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive toward Serengeti National Park, crossing scenic highlands and conservation landscapes before entering the famous plains. Your safari begins en route with chances to spot lions, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, and other wildlife across the savannah. Arrive at your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight in a comfortable midrange setting.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the day on safari in Serengeti, exploring one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife areas with packed lunch in the bush. The park offers excellent chances to see predators, large herbivore herds, and beautiful open landscapes stretching in every direction. Return to camp later in the day for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

A second full day in Serengeti gives you more time to enjoy deeper wildlife viewing and follow animal movement with flexibility. This added time can be especially rewarding for travelers interested in predator sightings, photography, or seasonal migration activity. After another full day in the park, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, continue with a final morning game drive in Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro highlands. The journey offers one last chance to enjoy the plains and wildlife before transitioning into the cooler and greener crater region. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight with views and atmosphere shaped by the highlands.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari in one of the most spectacular wildlife settings in Africa. You may see lions, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, and many bird species in a relatively compact area with stunning scenery. After lunch, ascend and return to Arusha, ending your 7-day midrange safari with Infinity Prideland Safaris.
