Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, you will drive to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive in a landscape dotted with ancient baobab trees and roaming elephant herds. The park is well known for its rich wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators that may appear around the river areas. After a picnic lunch and an afternoon of game viewing, you will continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through beautiful highland scenery before entering the endless plains of Tanzania’s most famous park. Game viewing begins en route as you search for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and herds of zebras and wildebeests spread across the savannah. By evening, you will arrive at your tented camp, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in the heart of the wilderness with midrange comfort.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Begin the day with a morning game drive in Serengeti, a wonderful time to spot active wildlife and enjoy the golden light across the plains. After more safari viewing and lunch along the way, you will continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying changing scenery as you leave Serengeti behind. In the evening, arrive at your lodge near the crater for dinner and overnight, ready for the next day’s spectacular crater safari.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife havens. The crater offers strong chances to see lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, with luck, the rare black rhino, all within a stunning natural setting. After a picnic lunch, you will ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, bringing your midrange safari to a memorable end.
